Our Tobacco Collection - Generously donated by the Shareholders of the Tobacco Company of Victoria Ltd.

This McMillan Tobacco Cutter was used to cut plugs of tobacco suitable for pipes.

Prior to the establishment of the Myrtleford tobacco processing and sales floor (the "Angie Rigoni Centre"), tobacco sales were held at Brooklyn in the western suburbs of Melbourne. 
Tobacco bales were despatched to Melbourne by rail from the Myrtleford Railway Station.
